We are so grateful that so many of you will be travelling to celebrate with us. Whether you’re coming from near or far, here’s everything you need to know to make your journey to Edinburgh smooth and stress-free.

  • Trains run frequently from Newcastle and further to Edinburgh Waverley. The Balmoral is located right outside the station you can walk straight across the road in 2 minutes.

  • There are plenty of car parks close by if you are driving in. We recommend the Omni Q Park or St-James Quarter . Pre-booking can often secure a better rate.

  • Edinburgh Airport (EDI) is the closest airport to the venue, you can take an Uber/Taxi to the city centre (~8 miles) or public transport such as the Airlink 100 Shuttle Bus.

Accomodation

Edinburgh offers a wide range of accommodation, from historic hotels to cozy apartments. You are also welcome to stay at the Balmoral, please reach out to us before booking as we have secured special rates for our Guests.

  • We have personally stayed here multiple times, great central location and reasonable value for the City Center. 9 minute walk to venue.

  • A modern apart-hotel 5 minutes walk away from our venue above the St-James Quarter Shopping complex with plenty of nearby option for food and drinks.

  • Motel One Edinburgh-Princes is a budget friendly hotel option, which is ideally located on the same street as our venue.
